Fixed Cost not rolling up in Task View

Postby Jaznights » Fri Jan 13, 2012 10:24 pm

When I look at project costs in Task view, I find the total cost rolls up from subtasks and the hours as well, but I don't see the fixed costs being rolled up correctly.. Am I missing something or has someone else found this and any fixes?

thanks
Jamie

Could you please send a small .xrp sample to support where you think fixed costs are not rolled up correctly ?
Could be a bug that none noticed ...

Thanks for the feedback

The the example all the subtasks roll up to the task level (line 2) for Cost and Work but Fixed Cost shows 0 inspite of $80k in fixed costs associated with lines 3 and 8

This seems to occur on all task sheet views

thanks

Could you please email the .xrp sample to support, it's easier for us if we can see all details of the project, etc
(of course you can remove any info you might find as private/sensitive/etc, we're only interested in the technical part)
Thanks

following the discussion with the previous user we agreed that we rather keep fixed costs on phases editable
In this case we can NOT roll them up as you can edit a fixed cost on phase too ...
Do you really need to roll them up (track fixed cost separately) ? Could you please explain a little bit as now is the second request on the issue s owe might try to figure out something for such situations
