Mint/Ubuntu - Java Issue - Not Starting Correctly - Path

Postby opb123 » Tue Feb 22, 2011 7:08 pm

If when you execute "sh ./RationalPlan.sh" and you get
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError
Caused by: java.awt.HeadlessException

Typically it means the path to java has not been set correctly. I have multiple java's on my system so needed to hard code the path.

(inside RationalPlan.sh file)
java -Xmx512M -Xss5M -cp $LOCALCLASSPATH com.sbs.jpm.Main ${1:+"$@"}

(changed to)
/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-sun/bin/java -Xmx512M -Xss5M -cp $LOCALCLASSPATH com.sbs.jpm.Main ${1:+"$@"}

Thanks,
Jim
